Welldone!!!!!

I am lying on my bed writing this message. Wonder y? cos we finally have our rounter work and we can online everywhere in our aparment!!!!
phew!! do u know how complicated and difficult for 2 ladies to deal with the IT stuff?? I have to admit that ladies do not have good sense in IT stuff like setting up computer, rounters etc. It took us the whole night to figure out how to get it work. Although i am n instrument engineer, but i have to admit that i am almost equal to a computer idiot.
To analyse the problem, i have to carry out my normal instrument troubleshooting step.
1st, connect modem to computer, make sure it works, i.e. modem n computer are good.
2nd, connect modem to rounter and to computer using cable. so make sure they can communicate each other with cables.
3rd, take out the cable between rounter and computer, test the wireless. If it doesn't work, it means the wireless settling go problems la....
Sounds easy if u break it down into steps, but beliee me, it too 2 engineer for 3 hr to figure it out :P
so...after all the following the steps of troubleshooting , at 1130pm, after almost 3 hrs of hard work, we finally get the router talk to our computer wireless.
You know what? i promise myself that i will go to bed at 1030 tonight, but now already 1150pm :(
