Venice, our first destination for our italy trip. The view are amazing and unique due to the canals and boat. I love this place as it is so peaceful and beautiful but yet to find the romantic feel that peoples believe in italy. We have 2 days here and we walk throw almost the entire island like a maze. Things here is expensive especially food!!! We are so out of our budget here.

Back from Italy

Finally, I am back from my Italy trip. It was an amazing trip with beautiful scenery and weather. Lots of photos to share, pls give me some time. I will post ot up gradually :)

Cirque du Soleil - Varekai

Astro used to show this show during Chinese New year at the pheonix channel. I remember clearly is my dad who spotted the tv program and ask all the kids to watch with him. Thats the first time i came across such a special circles show. It is really amazing for the way they combine the circles stunt, art( costume and make up) and musical together.

Now I have a chance to watch it live in London The Royal Albert Hall.
I persueded 2 of them to go with me after showing them the u-tube of the circles.
So we will be going for the 25th Jan, Friday 745pm play.
Cann't wait to watch it !!

Toyo giving out 2007 bonus. Congratulation for those who get their bonus!!! Sad for me that i got nothing eventhough i succesfully completed my UNIMATEC job. Not even a pro-rated bonus :(

Friday Christmas Dinner

Attending the christmas dinner with all the members come thro Tomtek and KTA. Make us discovered that 15mins down the road from our apartment is actually quite a happening place with lots of high street fashion shop and also restaurant and convenient shops. So next time we can just walk to buy something in weekend if we do not feel to go far to downtown for glocery shopping. At the same time, can do some exercise too :P

My first attemp to make gyoza, I even made my own gyoza skin oh!! Look Oishi des ne!!!

First attemp, not so bad geh la!! Serve with my special source (also first attemp, roughly mix with viniger, soy source, fresh cut shili and sesame oil)

Our Lovely little Apartment with Christmas Decoration!

To feel the season's atmosphere, we decided to decorate our little apartment too. Nice or not?? cannot expect more la..it is all budget money we have and this is all we can afford for less then 10 pound :). Still..not bad huh?? will buy more balls to hang later...

It christmas!! all the office and houses are decorate with lights and x-mas tree. This is the bechtel lobby x-mas tree which is about 2 story high!! Underneath the tree, there are boxese of gift to be donated to the orphan and care house. ehm..i didn't contribute anything :P

I am lying on my bed writing this message. Wonder y? cos we finally have our rounter work and we can online everywhere in our aparment!!!!
phew!! do u know how complicated and difficult for 2 ladies to deal with the IT stuff?? I have to admit that ladies do not have good sense in IT stuff like setting up computer, rounters etc. It took us the whole night to figure out how to get it work. Although i am n instrument engineer, but i have to admit that i am almost equal to a computer idiot.
To analyse the problem, i have to carry out my normal instrument troubleshooting step.
1st, connect modem to computer, make sure it works, i.e. modem n computer are good.
2nd, connect modem to rounter and to computer using cable. so make sure they can communicate each other with cables.
3rd, take out the cable between rounter and computer, test the wireless. If it doesn't work, it means the wireless settling go problems la....
Sounds easy if u break it down into steps, but beliee me, it too 2 engineer for 3 hr to figure it out :P
so...after all the following the steps of troubleshooting , at 1130pm, after almost 3 hrs of hard work, we finally get the router talk to our computer wireless.
You know what? i promise myself that i will go to bed at 1030 tonight, but now already 1150pm :(
Gonna sleep na!!!!

U name it , they have it!!!!! Moreover, you no not need to go thro all the procedure to register your name and open n account and you do not need special player to run the video. Just one click and u can watch it online. I am sooooo happy that i found it and would love to share with u all!!!
The only problem is that the site is in chinese. Sorry for those who cannot read chinese :P

Control System Christmas Party

Friday 7th Dec, It the day of the Bechtel Control System Group Chritmas Dinner.

We leave office at 4pm, heading toward Tottenham Court Road which is located in the other end of Oxford Circle. We when into a pub name The couch and have a pre dinner drinks. After that we go to an indian restuarant name Imli for our dinner. Its a fusion indian food which is quite delicious. but expensive :P

After the dinner, (which is just 8pm) we try to go into 3 rd round for a drink, but all the pubs around are full of people and some of the members have to stand outside in the cold night for a drink :)

I left them at 930pm although they say they plan to go to clubbing. But i manage to ask them where is the nearset clubbing place and i have got a list of it with me now. So waiting for my HH kaki to arrive and maybe will go out and try it :)
