Yummy Steak

As a usual boring monday, we decided to treat ourself a good dinner. Here we are having a minestrone soup follow by pepper sirlion steak and a glass of red wine. Finally we ended with lemon cheese cake :)
Guest what?? the wine PPL brought was so strong and I ge drunk by drinking only 1/3 of the glass. I went straight to my bed and have a nap for 30 mins b4 i can re-gain my conscious to cook my lunch for the next day :P

A Busy but Not productive Weekend

Hihihi..sorry for those who wish to see new thing posting up after the weekend :P
I am so sorry, i have a busy but none productivity weekend axcept i manage to get my toiletories shopping done.
I have a friday after work outing with my control system team mate out to the pub for a drink. Although I doesn't really feel like going but i still force myself to go in order to mix around with the teeam member. Luckily it turns out quite a funny night. The most important thing is i get to know more ppl in my group.
Saturday, meet a few colleugues for dim sum in china town (yaya..again dim sum :P) and after that have a window shopping at oxford street and follow by high street kensington , but end up buying nothing :)
Sunday, meet up friends in Bayswater for lunch and received a call from Lay May asking to go out for dinner tonight with Lay Wei.
So I m now in a rush to take a shower n will go out soon :P

Congratulation to my Brother!!

29th Nov, My brother, Shang Yong is getting registered with his girlfriend or i shall call sister in law by now. Congratulation to both of them!!! I am so sorry that I cann't attend their registration ceremony as I am away now. But I will make sure I attend their wedding ceremony next year.
Anyway, I am so proud of you, my brother, who decided to move on such a big step ahead in his life and i am glad that you had finally found your soul mate who can accompany you for the rest of your journey.
Really hope that I will be there to witness you big day and to share the happiness in the family.
Congratulation and Miss u all very much especially in such a special and important day for our family.

Thank you so much to Moo who is away in Australia for a short term job assignment for sending me such a sexy postcard, but maybe ur excitment has make u gone out of ur mind that i prefer a naked guy more then nude girls :)

Spain, Barcelona Trip, 21 Mar ~ 24Mar 2008

Finished the booking to brussel, we came across the Easter Holiday which lies on 21st to 24th Mar. In order not to waste our time and spent unnecessary money in last minute plan, we take immediate action to search for cheap holiday deal.
Hahahah...after a few checking and comparison, we finally decided to go Barcelona!!!!!
So, again, we booked the airticket from London to Barcelona :)
This trip cost us 132 pound for a return airticket :P
Still need to find out about accomadation.
I feel that I really need tighten up my belt and save some money for my travelling.
But i am happy even though i am broke now by spending all the future money :(

Ha! one more thing , we booked the barcelona trip without informing Rain as she is now on her way back to Msia attending her brother's wedding.
Rain, if u happen to read this blog, just pay the money back to PPL cos i am using her credit card to book the airticket. U cann't reject the ticket as it already done by now loh!!! ahahahaah
Just get ready to enjoy ourself in Barcelona :)

Belgium- Brussel Trip, 19th~ 20th Jan 2008

Haha!! just booked the Eurostar to Belgium capital, Brussel on 19th~20th Jan. The journey is only 2 hrs. I had been there once 10 yrs ago. Hehehe! hopefully i will be able to become th tour guide again. The trip cost us 60pound for a return ticket, not a bad deal huh???
Iknow a B&B named Sleepwell, where I used to stay 10 years agos with a reasonable price. So I am going to book it now in order to get cheap price :)

Paris Trip~ 2nd to 3rd Feb 2008

I booked our Paris trip on 2nd Feb to 3rd Feb last night. We are kind of late for the cheapest deal, so we end up paying £85 for a return ticket. Anyway, I am glad we finally made our decision for the paris trip. Although we only have a weekend there, but we can always go back again bcos it is so near. Travel from London to Paris only take 2hr 15mins.
So, it is time to plan our March trip now... hihihihih
The earlier u buy the ticket, the more u saved!!! Better be well plan!!

My First try on Braise Meat 卤肉

This is my first time trying to make braise meat using 5 spices powder 五香粉and also the star anise 八角. It turn out to be very delicious!!!! ahahahahah, I will have one more dish to eat for the weekend as this type of braise meat can keep for very long time :)

Weekday Schedule

I got complain by lots of friends and also my sister for not updating my blog during weekday.
Hihihiih...sorry-lo.... i am a bit lazy (as i always are) to use my brain in weekday. Further more, there is nothing much to share on the normal working day. Below is the routine schedule for my weekday,
6.40am wake up, cook breakfast
7.40am walk out n take bus
8.00am arrive office n start work
5.30pm, leave office, go but glocery for cooking
7.00pm arrive home, start cooking dinner and tomorrow lunch
8.00pm dinner + watching tv
9.00pm shower
9.30pm watch online movie
11.00pm sleep
Speaking of the online movie, ha!! i was recently "chasing" the korean drama name" goong" or" the imperial household. It is funny. Me and PPL enjoy it so much and i guess that took most of my time at night :P. But dun worry, we had finish that drama and i guess i can sqeeuze a bit of my tiny brain to try to write something in the weekday starting from next week :P

Lazy Cozy Sunday

As I am quite broke as the salary is still not in yet (they suppose to come in by 28th), I do not have any plan for this sunday. So I woke up late and have a cury laksa mee hoon for breakfast :).
Lying on the sofa watching my 28" tv. I came across this tv program on the top 50 song in 90's. It makes me fell lke i am still the 10 yrs back high school grad girl miserably arrive in UK for my college. All memories flashes back and it seems just like yesterday.
U know, the spice girls came back recently and the tv keep plugging their old song. Those song are just so " that" time song for me :).
10 yrs... I have never thought that I would come back to UK. Sometme, when i woke up in the middle of night, i still feel that i am lying in my lovely bed back in KL. Thing just happen so fast. By taking this offer, I think I lost/ give up some of my chances in KL. Yet, I am glad that I took this chance to open a new chapter of my life. Lets pray for the best :)

Saturday At Portobello

Portobello is an area near Notting Hill Gate. The interesting point to visit Potobello is to shop. There are antiques stores, while fruits , vege stalls , cloths and accessories along the road side and the road is really long. We met Rain at Ladbroke Road and suppose to plan to walk towards Notting Hill Gate. While we just having our half time break, I received a call from my cousin asking whether i want a 28" TV cos she has no space for this TV as she is moving to her new apartment.

So I rush back to meet her and now i am watching the 28" tv instead of the original 14" tv.

ahahahahah.......U know, my initial tv is even smaller then my laptop's screen :)

Leaving 离别

A colleuge of mine who i just met 3 weeks ago left Bechtel London today. Although I dun know him much, but i feel sad when seeing him leaving today. Looking at his cubicle where i used to have a little chat while collecting my print out. It is all empty now.
Eh...i hate the feeling of leaving. All I wish is to gather all the one that I love arounds me. I love spending times with all my friends and family.
Now, thinking of being far away from my family and friends, i sometime find it hard to fit in myself in the new life.
When there is a gain, there is a lost. I understand the theory well. While i am gaining all the experience and exploration, I lost the chance to get close to my family and friends. I really miss them, especially my family which i do not really spent much time with.
I sometime feel guilty, being the eldest in the family but I had never putting my effort on the family. But i am so lucky, I have a very understanding family which always give me support what ever decision i made. I love you all!!!!
eh.....a bit out of topic, but still wanna to post it and share :P
